Creator Tax Catch-Up Review
For creators who are behind on tax, have messy or missing records, missed a deadline, or received an HMRC letter.
- A review of where you actually stand
- A clear, written action plan
- A fixed quote for any cleanup or filing needed
- No judgement, and no obligation to join a monthly plan
The review is diagnostic only. It doesn't include filing returns, contacting HMRC, reconstructing records or correcting bookkeeping — those are quoted separately and only start once you've accepted the quote.
PLAN DETAILS
Plans, fair usage and what happens as you grow.
-
Your plan covers the compliance work listed for your tier - returns, filings, bookkeeping, payroll - plus quick questions about that work. One-off cleanup, specialist tax planning, advisory projects and HMRC enquiries are separate, quoted work. We'll always tell you which side of the line something falls on before any extra charge.
-
These ranges are there to help us keep you on the right plan, not to charge you for going one transaction over. If your records regularly sit outside the range, we'll discuss the right next step with you.
Spark - up to 100 business transactions per year, one bank/feed and up to two income streams. Beyond that, Grow usually fits better.
Grow - up to 50 clean business transactions per month, subject to fair usage and reasonably organised records.
Scale - up to 150 clean business transactions per month, assessed before onboarding so we can confirm the right scope and fee.
Higher-volume or more complex creator businesses are quoted separately.
When a higher tier or separate quote may apply - regardless of transaction count: multiple bank accounts, mixed personal and business spending, missing receipts, high payment-processor volume, more complex international tax or VAT issues, historic catch-up, formal HMRC enquiries, payroll beyond the included scope, or more complex advisory work. We'll always tell you before any additional fees apply.
-
We review and respond to routine HMRC correspondence as part of your plan - ordinary notices, reminders, coding or tax-account queries, and simple requests connected with the services in your plan. Penalties, disputes, compliance checks, enquiries, investigations, appeals or historic problems are quoted separately. We'll tell you clearly if a letter falls into that category.
-
Leaving - 30 days' notice. Monthly plans run on 30 days' notice - no long lock-in. Some plans include annual work, such as a Self Assessment return, company accounts or a Corporation Tax return. If we've already completed annual work included in your plan before you leave, a balancing charge may apply to reflect the value of that completed work, after crediting the monthly fees you've already paid towards it. We explain this clearly before you join, and any balancing charge will never exceed the standalone price for the work completed. When you leave, we'll handle the handover professionally and in line with our obligations.
Paying annually. If you'd rather make one payment a year than twelve monthly ones, we can set that up - and we'll give you a month free for doing so. It's entirely optional; monthly is the default. If you pay annually and later leave, we'll calculate any refund fairly under your engagement terms, taking account of any work already completed.
-
Onboarding. Before any client work begins, every client goes through proper onboarding, identity and anti-money-laundering checks, and a clear engagement letter, so you know exactly what's covered. Any onboarding fee will be confirmed before you join and settled up front.
What we don't do. CreatorBooks provides accountancy, bookkeeping, tax compliance and business finance support. We do not provide investment, legal, audit or regulated financial advice.
The points above are a plain-English summary. Your engagement letter sets out the full terms and takes precedence.
